Food plants could be sold or donated

Letters to the editor

If the government doesn’t make it possible for garden centres to open and organise controlled admission of shoppers like the supermarkets, then I would suggest that centres such as Dobbies on Newport Pagnell Road offered food plants such as tomatoes, to Workbridge, where I am sure they could harness a number of volunteers to tend them and raise much needed funds.

We will need all the food we can get come summer and autumn. Where there’s a will there has always been a way.

I have emailed Dobbies headquarters with this and other suggestions.
