'Can something be done before there is a terrible accident on this road?'

I am very concerned about the potential danger when crossing the Harlestone Road from the car parking area to Harlestone Firs.

This is a popular area for families walking with children and dogs and is very well used. Although there is a 40mph speed limit the road is busy and crossing very hazardous. This was particularly worrying.

A few days ago I witnessed a lady in an electric wheelchair attempting to cross.

Is there any way a pedestrian crossing could be installed? Which is the responsible agency?

I do hope something can be done before there is a dreadful accident.
