Nortmapton firm signs new sponsorship deal with Cobblers

Northampton Town will feature the logo of Opus Energy on its shirts until the end of the 2017 season, the club has announced.

The energy supplier, which employs 650 people in the town, renewed their shirt sponsorship with the Cobblers today and say they will continue to “cheer them on” this season and the next.

Andy Nash, director of operations at Opus Energy, said: “Giving back to the local community is hugely important to us, and with our continued support of the Cobblers, we hope that we can give something back to our employees.

“Over the last two years, we’ve added 150 new roles to the business here in Northampton, bringing more NTFC fans into the company. Our employees enjoy the great opportunities that our partnership with the Cobblers brings, such as meeting the players and access to tickets.

“Northampton has a proud sporting tradition, and by continuing our association with the Cobblers, we hope to see more promotions and success as seen over recent years.”
