During her husband’s illness, Ms Barok purchased a new carpet for the house from a private company in Northampton and she paid £1,133 in cash.
However, the company went into administration and she was told she would not get any of her money back.
When Ms Daffy heard about Mrs Barok’s story, she decided to raise enough money to buy a new carpet.
