Northampton woman due to star in front of millions for TV debut this weekend

Karen Garratt of Cogenhoe will appear during The X Factor advert breaks performing a rendition of Make Me Cry by Noah Cyrus.

Karen, who filmed herself on TalkTalk’s FX Star app, is expected to appear on viewers screens this weekend as a festive snowman.

Commenting on her upcoming television debut, Karen said: “My kids and I watch The X Factor every week and I cannot believe I’ve actually been chosen to appear on the ad breaks this weekend. Since the series began in the summer, my kids have been pestering me to record my own FX Star video and as soon as I saw the new snowman filter, I decided to give it a go!”

Sponsors of The X Factor, TalkTalk “FX Star” app allows fans to create their own videos for the chance to star on national TV and allows fans to overlay animated filters on their image as they sing along to hit songs.
