Jon Stump, finance director at Mick George Ltd, said: “We are extremely proud to be working alongside Northampton Town FC in what is an exciting time for the club. Northamptonshire is a region that we operate as a business and we are keen to build strong relationships with the local community.

“The club has just completed a major achievement which has had a positive impact on the whole town. As with our other sporting arrangements, we are hoping to bring something new to the table that will add to the traditional matchday experience for the supporters to enjoy.”

Northampton Town chairman Kelvin Thomas added: “We are delighted to be working with Mick George for the coming season.

“Having added the seats to the East Stand towards the end of last season, what is particularly exciting for us is to have the Family Enclosure back open in the East Stand, and to have the support of Mick George in this is particularly appreciated.

“We saw significant growth in attendances last season, and we are expecting the same again in 2016/17, so to be able to welcome our ever expanding base of young supporters back to the Mick George Family Enclosure is fantastic news and a real step forward for the matchday experience that is so important.

“We are really looking forward to working with Mick George Ltd and are very grateful for their support.”
