Predictably the game's only goal came from one of his set-pieces and it was a peach of a cross for Hoskins - or a defender - to turn in. Worked hard out of possession and had to put in a real shift at wing-back... 7
10. Sam Hoskins
Moved intro a central attacking role and he was heavily involved during the first-half, glancing a header wide, volleying waywardly, slipping in Anderson for a chance and then scoring, at least he'll try to claim it... 7.5
11. Vadaine Oliver
No goal and very few chances but Town's attacks repeatedly fed off his movement and clever flicks. Won so many headers and hold-up play was excellent... 8

His fresh legs brought a little more energy and bite to Cobblers' midfield just at a time when Rovers' pressure was growing... 6.5
