Northampton taxi driver hit by vandals and thieves four times in one month

An investigation has been launched after a Northampton taxi driver was hit by vandals and thieves four times in February.

Thieves and vandals have targetted a taxi driver four times in one month.

The victim was targeted at least four times between February 1 and March 1.

In early February, an thief gained entry to the taxi in Kettering Road, stealing £25 from the driver's wallet.

On February 21, at about 7.30pm, a window was broken and the taxi searched at the same address. Although nothing was taken, the vandals caused about £100 of damage.

The i newsletter cut through the noise

Sometime between 6pm on February 26 and 7.55am the following day the car was broken into, but nothing was taken and a similar incident happened on March 1, between 6am and 6.30am.
