The presentation of the money to a variety of charities

The money was the result of the school’s charity fundraising week held at the end of last year and the money was presented to a variety of good causes earlier this month.

During the fundraising week the school held a variety of events including Staff Vs Sixth Form Dodge Ball and the school’s own version of the X-Factor.

The week raised £7,400 and on top of this the school also raised £6,400 for the BacZac campaign for Zac Forskitt who was suffering two forms of cancer. Zac sadly died of his illness on Sunday.
