Northampton toddler Joey Ziadi, who suffers from a rare blood disorder, recently received the good news that a stem cell donor has been found.

But there are also other people in Northamptonshire with similar conditions including 25-year-old Leanne Tilbrook from Rushden, who is a teacher at Wrenn School who has a rare form of blood cancer known as Myelodysplastic syndrome and T-cell Leukaemia.

The rugby club is setting up an Anthony Nolan registration desk in the Saints Study Centre during the pre-season games against Cornish Pirates and Rotherham, between midday and 6.30pm.

People will be asked to complete an application form and spit into a tube. To join the database you have to be between the ages of 16 and 30 and in good health.
