Northampton lecturer talks to Friends of Eastfield Park group

Friends of Eastfield Park have an illustrated public talk this month as part of their regular meetings.

Dr Janet Jackson, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Management and Ecology at the University of Northampton, will be the guest speaker.

The meeting will be at Broadmead Baptist Church, Northampton, on Tuesday, February 16 at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

This talk will be followed by a presentation in regard to new pathways on Eastfield Park at 8.45pm, and a then a short AGM.

Meanwhile, Eastfield Residents Association meets tonight (Jan 28) at St Albans Church, starting at 7.30pm. This meeting may have to be in the church itself, using the Mayfield Road entrance.

Also in the area, a fortnightly Rock n Roll Jive Club starts at The Headland pub on February 1, running from 8.30pm-10pm. For further details, ask in the pub or call 07860 943334.

On Wednesday, February 3 from 8.30pm, The Mantas will perform live at The Headland.
