Northampton High School swim team crowned national champions
A team from Northampton High School are celebrating after competing in a national swimming competition finals at one of the UK's top aquatic venues.
Pupils Rebecca Lowe, Anna Johnson, Ellie Chinnock and Phoebe Haynes took part in the Team Championships for Primary Schools at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.
The championships pitted teams against each other in relay races with the Northampton High pupils finishing 5th in the medley.
After racing through the heats, in the nail-biting final the girls swam to take top spot to be crowned national champions.
