Northampton girls celebrate top Guide awards at annual Thinking Day event

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and senior section girls of the 28th Northampton Guide Group have been celebrating with their members.

As part of the annual World Thinking Day event, which marks the birthdays of their founders Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, top Guiding awards were made to eight girls.

The highest awards for Rangers, the Chief Commissioner’s Award were gained by India Houghton, Kira Alakija Eva Passmore, Georgia Sampson and Jasmine Mahony.

Charlie Demiduik, Carys Passmore and Katie Sampson were awarded their Baden Powell Awards being presented with The Chief Guide’s Challenge in recognition of their success in all eight areas of the Guide programme, including service and international awareness.

County Commissioner, Janita Mackin, presented the certificates.
