After listening to a debate on terrorism threats and NHS spending concerns, the fifteen first-year Uniform Public Services students spent time in the House of Commons’ interactive classrooms, where they took part in law making scenarios, taking the roles of government and opposition.

Tony Turner, lecturer in Uniform Public Services at Northampton College, said: “It was a superb experience and the students gained a true taste of politics and parliament.”
