New Chinese restaurant to open on site of former pub in Northampton
A former pub in Northampton town centre is to be converted into a Chinese restaurant.
Bootleggers, in Wellingborough Road, closed down in November last year and owner Paul McManus has sold the premises to a couple who want to set up a Chinese restaurant.
Yee Ling, the new owner of the site, said refurbishments were currently taking place and it was hoped the new restaurant, called Moso, would open by July.
Ms Ling said the new restaurant would offer a fusion of Asian foods.
Bootleggers, which had an American diner theme, was formerly known as The Workhouse pub.
