Nearly 400 people apply for just 10 jobs at sofa retailer's new Northamptonshire store

The sofa retailer and manufacturer will open its new store in Northfield Avenue at 9am on Saturday, April 30.

DFS area sales manager Stephen Croft said: “I’m looking forward to the opening as we’ve recruited a great bunch of people from the local community.

“The amount of applications we had for the 10 advertised jobs was overwhelming and we are certain that we have selected the best team for our new store.
