Murder victim died from single stab wound to major blood vessel, Northampton Crown Court hears
Mr Miller’s body was found at his home in Patterdale Walk, Boothville on Tuesday and the court heard he may have been killed the previous day.
Jonathan Straw, prosecuting, said that the fatal injury was a single stab wound that pierced his aorta but there were also other injuries to his body.

Zena Kane, aged 35, appeared first before Judge Rupert Mayo followed by Joseph Catlin, aged 30 - who was arrested yesterday - Michael Hallett, aged 37, and Ian Cuthbertson, aged 49.
All matters were adjourned until a trial, which is set to take place in November.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has now been released on police bail.
A 27-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender was already on police bail.
