Mr T impersonator to star in Northampton edition of Come Dine With Me on Friday

John Lashley, who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2010 as part of the Chippendoubles, is joined by Russell, Justyna and Brenda on the programme, which will be aired at 5pm.

Mr Lashley, who works as Production Director at RJDM animation in Northampton, said the group had all got on well during the filming last September and were still in contact.

He said: “One of the other contestants only lived just down the road from me and it was really nice to meet some different people from the town.

“Nothing horrible was said, we all got on pretty well.”

Mr Lashley said he surprised the three other contestants by dressing as Mr T during his VIP, red carpet-themed night.

During the evening, he also got some of his fellow Chippendoubles involved in his night’s entertainment.

The Northampton edition of Come Dine With Me will be shown on Channel Four on Friday, January 29 at 5pm.
