Mr Chips named winner of 2016 Chip Shop of the Year competition
The winner of the Chip Shop Of The Year 2016 competition has been announced.
Mr Chips IV, in Broadmead Avenue, Northampton, achieved the highest amount of votes in this year’s competition.
Duston Fish Bar in Main Road, Northampton finished in second place and Duston Village Chippy, also in Main Road, Northampton.
Sevat Gurbuz, owner of Mr Chips IV, said: “I feel very happy to win this award.
“We have had lots of customers voting for us and asking about the result of the competition.”
There were a total of 41 nominees in this year’s Chip Shop of the Year competition.
