A motorcyclist was left with life-threatening injuries after hitting a lamppost in Burton Latimer.

The collision took place at 7.15pm on Friday (May 29) on Polwell Lane, near to the Morrison’s distribution centre, when the rider of a Honda motorcycle was in collision with a lamppost.

The man riding the motorcycle sustained serious, life threatening injuries and was taken to University Hospital Coventry.

Officers investigating the collision would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it or anyone who may have any information about it.
