Man touched inappropriately in Northampton shopping centre

A man felt a stranger touch him inappropriately while joining an escalator in a Northampton shopping centre.

Aman has been touched inappropriately in a Northampton shopping centre

The victim was taking the escalator from the ground floor near the Abington Street entrance in Northampton Grosvenor Shopping Centre when he felt an unknown man touch him inappropriately, before walking off towards the glass lifts.

The incident happened sometime between 4.15pm and 4.45pm on Monday, February 27.

The offender is described as a white man, around 5ft 9ins tall and was seen wearing a thick dark blue jacket.

He is aged between 40 and 50 years old and has short dark brown hair, red cheeks and was of a large build.
