Man suffers head injuries after attack outside fast-food restaurant in Kettering

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault that is alleged to have taken place outside McDonalds in Northfield Avenue, Kettering.

A 51-year-old man who had driven into the car park was assaulted by another motorist at some point between 5.50pm and 6.15pm on Friday, June 10.

The victim sustained head injuries requiring hospital treatment as a result of the incident.

A police spokesman said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any information regarding it.”

The alleged offender was driving a white Land Rover, was white and in his 30s.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and released on bail pending further enquiries.
