Making some noise at Northampton's anti-homophobia event
Northampton Borough Council organised the event in the Guildhall courtyard at midday with councillors and representatives from community groups giving short speeches and making some noise to raise awareness of the day and of all those people who are unable to speak out due to homophobia, transphobia, hate crime and prejudice.
International Day Against Homophobia is a chance to remember those who have suffered from hate or prejudice because of their sexuality or any reason to do with who they are.
