Major fire closes road in Blisworth

Six fire engines and a water bowser attended a major fire in Blisworth last night.

The fire caused Northampton Road to be closed and was battled by fire fighters until the early hours of the morning.

Crews from Northants Fire were assisted by Aylesbury On-Call Firefighters, who posted a photo of the incident.

Crews are expected to remain in attendance today.

Residents of Blisworth and Milton Malsor were advised to keep their windows shut.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown and it is still not known if there are any injuries.

The public are advised to avoid the area while appliances continue to attend the incident.
