The operation is one that the police have had planned for a while
A police cordon and a number of divers have been spotted in Abington Park.
The main lake in the centre of the park has been cordoned off for a proportion of today (May 28) as professional divers search the water.

Police have confirmed that there is no cause for concern and no risk to the wider public.
A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said: "This is an operation we’ve had planned for a while – we’re searching for illegal items and substances.
