Hundreds enjoy treats at Food and Craft Show at Holdenby in Northamptonshire

Food enthusiasts tasted their way through a range of delicious food and drink at Holdenby House at the weekend.

The 9th annual Northamptonshire Food and Craft Show at Holdenby included a range of regional food including bakery, meat and dairy products, wine, beer and other goods as well the chance to buy the latest cookware and gadgets.

There was also the chance to listen in on talks and demonstrations including one by celebrity chef Matt Tebbutt who appears on Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped and the BBC’s Great British Food Revival and Saturday Kitchen.

The demonstrations were compered by Masterchef Ondine Hartgroves and featured other chefs including Andy Kelly who is head chef at Sophia’s Restaurant in Northampton.

There were tours of Holdenby’s kitchen garden with head gardener Matt Hughes and the chance to enjoy birds of prey flying displays from Icarus Falconry and a Living History Display from The Earl of Essex’s Regiment of Foote, as well as have-a-go croquet.
