'He was the love of my life': Wife's tribute to man who died in Northampton town centre collision

A man who died following a collision in Northampton town centre yesterday has been named by police.

At around 1pm, 48-year-old Keith Matson, who was on a mobility scooter, collided with a large goods vehicle at the crossing by Sol Central in Horsemarket.

This afternoon the wife of Mr Matson, who did not wish to be named, has paid tribute to her late husband.

She said: "Keith was a funny and lovable man, always willing to help anybody out. He was the love of my life and I will miss him always.”
