Harassment charges against Ben Cohen’s mother-in-law dropped by CPS
Charges of harassment brought against the mother-in-law of ex-Northampton Saints star Ben Cohen have been dropped, a CPS spokeswoman said.
Felicity Bassouls, aged 67, was accused of bombarding the England World Cup winner with calls and emails between September 1 and October 29 last year.

The case was due to go to trial at Corby Magistrates’ Court in August.
But the case against Bassouls, of Ardross, Alness, Scotland, has now been dropped after the case was reviewed by a senior lawyer for the CPS.
A CPS spokeswoman said: “The evidence was reviewed in detail in accordance with our Code but was found to be insufficient for a criminal prosecution.
“We have informed the complainant, Mr Cohen, and the defendant Mrs Blayney-Bassouls of our decision.”
