Fund-raisers urged to sign up for NorPIP bike ride around Silverstone

Cyclists from across the county are being urged to grab their bikes and head to the Silverstone Race track on Friday, March 25 to kick-start the bank holiday weekend with the NorPIP bike ride.

The event, now in its fifth year, will see cyclists (seven years and above) take on the Grand Prix challenge and cycle the full 3.66 mile GP track for local charity NorPIP!

The event, which is set to attract more than 500 cyclists, is the only opportunity cyclists will get this year to put bike tyre to tarmac on the world famous track for charity.

“It’s an amazing opportunity for cyclists to follow in the footsteps of the F1 greats,” said Louise Danielczuk Fundraising Coordinator at NorPIP.

“Families; pro-cyclists; cycle enthusiasts or those just wanting to leisurely cycle the track are invited to come along and join in this fantastic event, which is set to raise a huge amount of money for the charity,” said Louise

The event takes place on Good Friday at 5.30pm and family, and spectators are invited to come along and enjoy stalls and family fun from 3pm.
