Fuel thief made off without paying at Northampton garage

Police want to speak to a woman in connection with a fuel theft from a BP garage in Northampton.

The suspect, who was the passenger in a black Mercedes bearing stolen front index plates, put £54.83 of diesel into the vehicle before driving off.

Northamptonshire Police today revealed, the theft happened at about 5.45pm on Monday, March 20, at the BP garage in Harborough Road, Kingsthorpe.

She was white, aged in her late teens or early 20s, with a medium build.

She was about 5ft 4inches and was wearing a black or dark navy coat with a fur-trimmed hood, a grey beanie hat, skinny green jeans/trousers and white shoes/trainers.
