The Northampton Food and Drink festival takes place at Becket’s Park over the weekend of May 14 and 15 with artisan producers from all over the UK displaying their produce.

Aspiring chefs can learn from local and celebrity chefs in two ‘cookery theatres’ and there will also be a real ale marquee and music stage.

The festival’s ‘food halls’ will host a line-up of local and regional speciality food and drink producers, including meats, artisan baking and micro-breweries plus cheese, sausages and gourmet pies.

A spokesman said: “It will bring tastes and smells to tantalise your tastebuds.”

Open from 10am until 6pm on both days, the event will see Michelin-starred chef Jean Christophe Novelli, This Morning chef Phil Vickery as well as the musician, entrepreneur and Dragon’s Den favourite Levi Roots and his Reggae Reggae sauce.

Advance adult tickets are £7, with children aged over five £3. To book call 01283 820548 or visit www.livingheritagefoodfestivals.co.uk
