FOI reveals top 10 most loaned library books in Northamptonshire
Travel book, Bill Bryson's Road to Little Dribbling: More Notes From a Small Island ranked as the number one most borrowed library book in the county this year, with 589 issues of the paperback.
It beat fiction novel, Judith Allnatt's Silk Factory into second place, which was loaned 548 times this year, an FOI submitted by this newspaper revealed.
