The pet rabbit, Teddy, was taken from a garage next to a home in Laburnum Crescent on December 15. He is a three-year-old miniature lop, with floppy ears and distinctive white paws and nose.

Now owner Charlotte Fox is appealing for anyone who knows anything about the break-in to contact police.

Charlotte said: "Whoever stole him forced entry into the garage, I am not sure what they would have used to do it. They completely bent the bottom of the door open and seemed to squeeze underneath.

"He is very loved and missed. We would like him safely home as soon as possible," she added.

Anyone with any information can contact the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
