Events hall and bedrooms revamped at town centre hotel in Northampton

The Park Inn by Radisson Northampton has undergone work to revamp the hotel’s Buckingham suite and 32 guest bedrooms.

General manager Nicholas Hughes said: ”We’re delighted with the recent upgrade, which I feel confident takes the hotel to another level.

“The newly refurbished Buckingham Suite is now the best event space in Northampton, and the new Superior guest bedrooms deliver exactly what today’s travellers are looking for.

“I’m very pleased to have the opportunity to invest in the hotel, constantly evolving the product, and ultimately enhancing the guest experience,” he added.

A spokesman for the hotel said 32 Superior guest bedrooms have received a full refurbishment, including new bathrooms, heated mirrors, built-in wardrobe, headboard complete with mood lighting, height adjustable table SMART TV, USB charging points, and enhanced WiFi access.

“Meanwhile, the Buckingham Suite, the hotel’s largest event space, holding up to 600 people, has a new look and feel, complete with state-of-the-art equipment.

“The room’s makeover included; modern decor with sumptuous carpet, decorative panels with mood lighting, enhanced air conditioning and fresh air supply, enhanced lighting more conducive to meetings and events, new stage, ceiling mounted audio-visual system, and a large ceiling mounted screen.” he added.

“The result is a colourful, modern, adaptable and versatile space that can be adapted to the guests theme or corporate colours. The space is now suitably styled and equipped to accommodate guests for an array of meetings and events from conferences, to weddings, to private parties, self-catering events, and large meetings,” the spokesman said.

“The work undertaken follows a previous £600,000 investment that completely transformed the hotel’s ground floor space – with substantial changes to the lobby, bar and restaurant areas.

“There are plans in place to further continue the improvement programme with additional bedrooms and the hotel’s seven meeting rooms to be developed,” he added.
