Police called to sudden death of man in his 50s on main road in Northampton

Northamptonshire Police were called to Wellingborough Road, near Nationwide, at around 9.30am on Monday December 8.

The force has confirmed it is not treating the death as suspicious.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesperson said: “Police officers were called to the sudden death of a man in his 50s in Wellingborough Road, Northampton, on Monday December 8) at about 9.30am.

“We are not treating his death as suspicious and will be preparing a report for the coroner’s office.

“Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.”
