Man in his 20s and teenage girl sustain minor injuries in collision that closed Northampton road for four hours
A man in his 20s and a teenage girl sustained minor injuries in a collision, which closed a busy Northampton road for around four hours.
This collision happened in Bants Lane, between Poppyfield Farm and Chiltern Avenue, on Sunday March 15 at around 8.10pm.
Police say a collision occurred between the drivers of a grey Ford Fiesta car and a white Vauxhall Insignia car.
A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: “As a result of the collision, two passengers (a man in his 20s and a teenage girl) in the Insignia car sustained minor injuries.

“The Fiesta collided with traffic lights and due to damage to both the car and street furniture, the incident was handed over to the relevant agencies for recovery and assessment of the damage.”
Eyewitnesses reported a large emergency services response as police closed to the road while the incident was dealt with. Police added that the road re-opened shortly before midnight.
