Sisters Beccy Moulding and Sharon Smart have had a record number pupils enquiring about places at their cooking school.

The baking duo who run Polka Dot Bakes from their homes in Duston, are launching baking and icing courses for youngsters aged seven and up.

Beccy said: “Since Mary Berry came on to our TV screens baking has become one of the nation’s favourite pastimes and we have had more calls than ever.”

Sharon,added: “Baking is confidence building as well as heaps of fun and we help our youngsters make their bakes look as good as they taste.”
