A youth charged with stabbing another teenager in an alleged group attack near a Wellingborough park has pleaded not guilty.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be identified due to his age, is charged with being one of three people who grievously wounded a victim in an attack on January 16 in Kilnway.

It is also alleged he then threatened a witness in the case with a knife in February.

At Northampton Crown Court today (March 10), the teenager pleaded not guilty to all charges.

He is set to stand trial on October 11.

The court did not hear the identity of the other two alleged attackers.
