Residents of a Northamptonshire village had a quick double-take after seeing a convoy of trucks carrying expensive Range Rovers.

It came after detectives scored a hat-trick of sorts when they raided a South Northamptonshire village to find THREE stolen motors.

The trio were taken away on flatbed recovery trucks, along with a DAF lorry, after last week's swoop in Aynho.

Officers from the Northamptonshire rural crime team assisted CID with the search and examination.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire police confirmed a 27-year-old Banbury man and a 24-year-old from Oxford arrested in connection with the incident have since been released under investigation.
