A yob landed a £2,000 bill for trashing a Northampton hotel room after pleading guilty in court.
Court documents showed Joseph Sansom, aged 21, admitted criminal damage worth £2,610 at the Westone Manor Hotel on Januaray 25 this year — and a second charge of stealing a £1.20 packet of crisps.
Northampton magistrates ordered Sansom, of Moore Street, Kingsley, to pay £2,000 in compensation and carry out 40 hours unpaid work.
