Woman seriously injured in Northampton collision dies in hospital

A pedestrian who suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car in Wake Way, Grange Park, Northampton, has died in hospital.

The 20-year-old woman from Northampton, was in collision with a grey VW Passat at about 11pm on Thursday, February 6.

She was taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries, where she died yesterday (Sunday, February 16).

A 23-year-old woman from Northampton and a 27-year-old man from Dunstable were arrested on Friday, February 7, on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision and driving without due care and attention.

They have been released under investigation.
