A woman who was seriously hurt in a crash on Corby's Link Road last week has since died, police have confirmed.

The 28-year-old, who was from Staffordshire, was involved in an incident which took place on the A43 bypass between Stanion and Kettering at about 2pm on April 15.

She was driving a silver Ford Fiesta which was in a crash with a white DAF tractor unit.

The woman was airlifted to hospital in Coventry to be treated for her injuries but died yesterday (April 20).

No arrests have been made in connection with the crash.
