Witnesses sought to reported assault near pub in Northampton town centre

A 32-year-old man who lost consciousness in Northampton town centre believes he may have been the victim of an assault.

The man had been out with friends in The Volunteer pub in Abington Square.

The next thing he remembers is coming round in the street with pain in his head and without his coat or mobile phones. He believes he was assaulted and Northamptonshire Police is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

Police today released information about the incident that took place between 11.30pm and 11.45pm on Thursday, March 17. in Wellingborough Road, near Abington Square.
