Police want to talk to two dog walkers who made have seen a crash involving two bikes and a hand-cycle in Northampton earlier this month.

The incident took place between 6.50pm and 7.10pm on Tuesday, May 12, on a stretch of road, known locally as Old Road, between the roundabout at Little Billing Way and the exit at Fairoaks.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "The collision involved two motorcyclists and a man using a hand cycle, which was attached to a wheelchair. As a result of the collision, the hand cyclist sustained minor injuries which required hospital treatment. The motorcyclists failed to stop.

"Officers are appealing to the motorcyclists to come forward or anyone who may be able to identify the motorcycles and riders. They would also like to speak to two dog walkers who were seen in the area at the time of the collision.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which could help with the investigation is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 20000241166."
