WATCH: Two people who may have 'missing piece of jigsaw' in Northampton skate park murder investigation asked to come forward urgently
A video has been released by Northamptonshire Police asking two people, “who may have the missing piece of the jigsaw” in the skate park murder investigation, to come forward “urgently”.
Detective Superintendent Johnny Campbell has issued a direct plea for two people the investigation team would like to speak to as well as re-appeals for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
The appeal comes eight days on from the death of 20-year-old Mason Miller who was stabbed and died at the skate park in Ringway, Briar Hill at around 3.30pm on Wednesday February 18. A 17-year-old was also stabbed and sustained life-changing injuries.
A number of arrests have been made in relation to the incident. Anyone arrested on suspicion of murder of manslaughter has either been “eliminated from enquiries” or released on bail pending further enquiries.

Now police are asking two people “who know who they are” to come forward, so they can check they are safe and because “they may have the missing piece of the jigsaw”.
Detective Superintendent Campbell said: “The investigation into why Mason was killed continues.
"I’m here today with a slightly different appeal, which is directly aimed at two individuals we have identified who we need to speak to urgently.
“Those two people know who they are, family, friends of those two individuals know who they are, so I’m asking us as a community to come together and share this message with them, with their mums, with their dads, with their brothers, sisters, friends, to help us convince them to do the right thing and come forward and speak to us.
“Primarily we need to check that they are safe and well, but equally we need to speak to them as they may have the missing piece of the jigsaw that we need to establish exactly why what happened, happened."
Police are also appealing for additional dashcam footage from anyone driving through Kings Heath, Duston and Briar Hill between 2pm and 4pm on February 18.
Anyone with any information, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting incident number: 26000098294 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
