Victim fights off knife attackers in 5am confrontation in Northampton town centre

Three attackers armed with a knife attacked a man near The Auctioneers pub in Northampton town centre.
The victim needed stitches in a gashed hand after the confrontation in an alleyway off Market Square between 4am and 5am on Saturday March 14.

Hide AdA spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "Three men asked the victim if he was selling drugs before one of the offenders threatened him with a knife.
"The man knocked the knife out of the offender’s hand, however in the process sustained a deep cut to his wrist which required stitches."
Officers have issued descriptions of three men, all white and in their 20s, they want to speak to regarding the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. All three spoke with Irish accents.
The spokesman added: "The first offender is about 6ft 3in, with brown hair with a fade and long hair on top which was frizzy. He was wearing a white t-shirt, dark blue jeans and had a tattoo sleeve which was the length of his right arm.

Hide Ad"The second has blond hair and was wearing a black jumper with the word Moschino in white across the chest, black jeans and black shoes.
"The third offender was wearing a black trench coat, black Fendie tracksuit bottoms with the letter F going down the sides in alternating red and yellow colours.
"We would ask anyone with information or who may have witnessed this incident is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 20000158646."
