Two schoolboys who were arrested during a double stabbing investigation have been released with no further action.

The pair — aged 16 and 14 and both from Wellingborough — were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after the shocking incident outside a Kwik Fit garage in December last year.

Police had been called to Bath Lane in Kettering at about 5pm on December 16 after reports of a mass fight involving up to tne people.

A 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man were taken to hospital with stab wounds and their injuries were described as "non life-threatening".

One eyewitness said the two victims ran to Kwik Fit in nearby Stamford Road to ask for help.

Today (Monday) a police spokesman confirmed they have made a full recovery.
