Two men arrested last week after a 'disturbance' at a home in Dallington have been released on bail.

Neighbours on Merthyr Road woke up on Thursday last week (February 27) to find their street cordoned off by police.

A house on the road was taped off, and it appeared all of the front-facing windows on the ground floor had been smashed outwards.

Emergency services, including a police helicopter, rushed to the scene following reports of a disturbance at around 9pm.

One neighbour told the Chronicle and Echo they heard loud bangs before someone shouted: "call an ambulance, call an ambulance".
