Two men have been arrested after Duston's Nationwide Building Society was raided in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).

There was a large police presence in Duston after the break-in, which took place at the Main Road branch near Meeting Lane between 1.30am and 1.45am.

The offenders forced entry to the building society and then fled but a police dog tracked them to a nearby location.
