These are faces of just a few offenders from Northampton, Corby, Daventry and Thrapston who were put behind bars during October — including drug dealers, a driver who left three pensioners seriously injured in a shocking hit and run, two child rapists and a thug who left his victim scarred for life in a brutal attack.

Lewis Garraway rented out a room to a dad who had his two young kids to stay without revealing he was a registered sex offender. Garraway, 23, from Northampton was jailed for two years and two months for breaking a sexual harm prevention order by not telling police whenever he was in close proximity to any child for more than 12 hours.

Sean Michael McCulloch went on the run after being arrested over a stabbing incident in Corby then threatened police with a syringe when they caught up with him. The 31-year-old was sentenced to a total of 23 months after pleading guilty to possession of a knife and a syringe.

Karl Robinson, 25, mowed down three pensioners out for a walk then drove off and left them badly injured. Robinson was jailed for two years and nine months over the incident in Thrapston just before Christmas 2020.

Patrick Loftus left a man scarred for life after slashing his face and setting his Rottweiler dog on him in a fight in St Andrew's Road, Northampton. Northamptonshire Police said Loftus had also robbed a local Tesco store at knifepoint just days earlier. The 39-year-old denied causing grievous bodily harm with intent but was found guilty and jailed for more than 11 years.
